Gail Ref - OCBZ

First and foremost, before Gail's bio info and what-not, I would like to make it known that the wonderful and most talented *Kitty-Quixotic did the artwork for this character of mine. Go appreciate her and tell her nice things because she's awesome forever. Into the night. Now here's some stuff about Gail (Slightly modified from her usual reference to fit the setting of the OCBZ).




Name: Abigail Ivansky (Prefers to be called Gail)

Age: 22

Gender: Female

Race: Human

Height: 5' 8"

Weight: 135

Hair: A striking red that's usually hidden underneath a hat. Most of it is kept in a tight pony tail that reaches down to the base of her neck, but she always makes sure an ample amount of bangs are covering her forehead.

Eyes: Light green.

Facial Details: Aside from the aforementioned freckles there is one other defining feature on her face: a blocky red cross, similar to something one would see on an ambulance. The tattoo is most often hidden behind her bangs.

Clothing: Most of her person is covered in a large dark green poncho, and beneath that she wears a dark gray sleeveless shirt. Around her neck is a striped scarf, its stripes alternating between darker and lighter shades of green. Covering her legs are a pair of old green fatigues and on her feet are a pair of shoddy leather motorcycle boots. Finally, atop her head she wears a wide-brimmed hat of similar color to her poncho (In other words, she really likes her green).

Personality: Gail can come off as being a rude person since she has a tendency to divert her attention to something she finds more interesting. This happens frequently during conversations, much to her employers' dismay. When the conversation is focused on something she is interested in, however, Gail will give her full attention to the matter until it is settled. As such Gail can also be selfish; not being able to offer her something worth her while could mean she would simply walk away and completely ignore the job, regardless of what it entailed. In short, she puts her own needs first and never falls into desperation.

Likes: Her motorcycle, all of her gear, hunting, green, rewards, finding/earning more gear, silence.
Dislikes: Currency of any kind, running out of supplies, vehicle trouble, the heat, loud noises, crowds.

Weapons/Gear:
-Gail's most prized possession is her rickety old motorcycle. It's painted green (Although the paint is chipped off in some places) and has various compartments that hold her supplies, from canteens to ammunition. She seems to talk to the bike when alone, and she takes its various pops and sputterings as responses.
-Usually strapped to her back is a hunting rifle with a rather large scope attached to it. This gun is not used often, as Gail prefers close combat, but when she can't deal with a target that can be killed it becomes her deadliest weapon.
-Hidden underneath her poncho Gail keeps a sawed-off, double-barreled shotgun that's always within a second's reach. This serves as a last resort to close combat, as its blast is quite fatal.
-Finally, she keeps a hunting knife and a length of rope on her to further subdue targets she needs alive. She keeps extra rope in the motorcycle.

Fighting Style:
As stated above Gail prefers close quarters combat, although she's only proficient in brawling. Her moves are far from flashy and at most times predictable, but when she does land a hit it can leave a mark. Her job is a huge deciding factor in how she fights, however, as fighting a target that is worth more alive would restrict her from using lethal force, i.e. her guns. In a non-job related bout, though, she is not beyond shotgunning people down as soon as possible just to keep moving on.

History:
Gail was born unto strong parents who lived in a wasteland portion of the Brawl, where the strongest lived in wealth and the weakest joined together to try and take down the strongest. Now although her parents were strong, they opted to live a more docile life and frequently moved around the wastes, taking shelter in the scrap-iron shacks that littered the barren grounds. Gail was raised on small meals, tough love, and a whole lot of lessons on how to survive.

She lived with her parents for sixteen years, at which point she was ready to go off on her own (To which her parents heartily obliged, as it was one less mouth they had to split food with). Two years passed while she made a living for herself, mimicking her parents' habit of never resting in one place for too long. At eighteen she acquired her motorcycle, and, after some haphazardous lessons from its previous owner, tore across the wastes on it ever since. Within the next four years she found doing odd jobs as a good way to get supplies such as gas or food, and eventually built her reputation as a bounty hunter for hire.
